Mastering Color will focus on the core skills needed to optimize the use of color in photography. The focus will be on the use of Photoshop but you will leave with a better understanding of the "what and why" not just the "how". The course will provide value for beginners, intermediate and advanced users of Photoshop alike. We will cover the essentials of Color theory, and understand how color is managed throughout the digital photographic process. We will cover the use of ICC profiles and how to increase the quality and predictability of your results. Then key topics and techniques in areas such as color correction, fine tuning skin tones and optimizing colors in an image will be covered as well. Finally we will review techniques regarding the creative use of color to enhance the emotional impact of an image. In summary, "Mastering Color" is a foundation course in the skills of the color digital darkroom.
